My Daily Skincare Routine

The time has come! I am finally getting around to introducing you to my skin care routine, this has been so highly requested. I first want to start out with a little disclaimer. Everyone skin type is different and skincare is such a personal preference. This is just what I do and what works for my skin + skin type.

Before getting into my daily skincare routines [which both are a little different] let me share with you all my skin type. Both of my routines are very simple and minimalistic, I found with my skin being sensitive doing too much and applying too many products have irritated my skin in the past. These are my current products in my routine. I love skin care, and I am constantly trying new items and have numerous products I love that are not mentioned but the products below are what I am enjoying and are working for me as of late.

My t-zone has always been on the oily side and everywhere else is normal. Growing up I experienced the occasional breakouts but never had any scaring. I have a few freckles, redness, uneven skin tone and am pretty sensitive. When you get older your skin inevitably changes. Being in my 30's I experience more infrequent breakouts commonly around my menstrual cycle and my skin is not as oily as it once was other than that my skin has remained the same.

Step One | Face Wash
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
I use this face wash because its gentle and it really cleanses the skin without stripping it. It's a cleanser that is ideal for removing excess oil and makeup. It also has ingredients that helps maintain moisture balance in the skin.

Step Two | Moisturizer
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
I love this moisturizer morning or night! Its specifically for sensitive skin and it is really hydrating. This can be used all over the body and provides long term hydration!

It Cosmetics Transforming Moisturizing Super Cream
Another moisturizer I have been loving specifically for the morning and before my makeup application. It really is "Confidence in a Cream", it plumps up the skin making it look more awake! This is an ultra-hydrating moisturizer that rejuvenates, repairs, and restores skin for softer, smoother results. I have only used this for about a week but I am loving it so far!

Step Three | Eye Cream
OleHenriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream
I do not have a photo of this as I got a sample from Sephora to try out and I am waiting to use up before purchasing. However, this eye cream is so worth it!! I have never been one for eye creams, always thought they were a bit gimmicky. I have been proven wrong with this guy. It has become a staple in my morning skin care routine. If you need a little 'wake up before you make up' this is the product for you.

Step One | Pre-Cleanse and Remove Makeup
I ran out of both of these products and already re-purchased but these are my two favorite makeup removers. They are gentle on the skin and do not burn my eyes. I have tried countless makeup removers, these are the ones that I have found are the best.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
Bioderma Sensibio H20

Step Two | CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser. [pictured above]
I use this both morning and night, it is so gentle on the skin.

Another cleanser I have been testing out that I have been enjoying is the Farmacy Clean bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser  Not a whole lot I can say about this yet, I am still testing this out but so far so good.

Step Three | Toner
Brandless Facial Toner
I go in with toner after I cleanse my face to make sure all of the my makeup and dirt is removed from my face. This toner cleanses and refreshes the face and ensures all dirt is removed, also doesn't hurt that its only $5.00!

Another alternative toner that I use often is Pixi Glow Tonic . This toner helps brighten your complexion and is a light exfoliant as well.

Step Four | Serum
Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
This is one of the products I use that I can positively say, without a doubt, once using I saw a dramatic change! This serum refines and resurfaces skin to reveal a smoother and more radiant complexion. It claims to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration, along with excess oiliness and the appearance of pores, appear dramatically diminished over time and I totally agree to all of these statements! It really takes you from a drab complexion to an absolute luminous one over night. I can not say enough good things about this product.

Step Five | Moisturizer
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream  [pictured above]
I use this both morning and night! It is just so hydrating!

Step Six | Face Oil
Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil
This oil is a wonder-working luxury facial oil, high in critical antioxidants, to deeply moisturize, nourish, soothe, and rejuvenate your skin while restoring its youthful glow. I only use this at night, your skin will drink this in as you sleep.

Lastly | Step Seven | Lip Mask
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This is a leave on mask for your lips that moisturizes and soothes your lips overnight.

I also like the bite beauty agave lip mask.
These lip masks really nourish your lips. If you suffer from chronic chapped lips like I do, look no further, these mask will replenish the moisture in your lips!

Masks | There are two I have been using consistently as of lately.
OleHenriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask
Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay

Eye Masks | Tarte Pack Your Bags Undereye Patches
Sheet Masks | Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask

Thank you so much for reading! I hope this answers a ton of your questions about what I use to keep my skin healthy. I have seen such a dramatic change in my skin over the years and I swear by these products. If you have any questions please leave them in the comments below!
